Essential in wardrobes, classic knitwear techniques and typologies inspire Marine Serre to create its own garments for everyday wear. Experimenting with end-of-line yarns or picking out cruelty-free wool yarns from non-mulesed animals, the choice of materials is carefully meditated to provide a comfortable, high-quality finish with a conscious approach.

All the cotton Marine Serre sources for Borderline is GOTS-certified — this world-leading textile processing standard chiming with the house’s own well-known commitment to protecting the planet. In terms of the silhouettes across these ranges, we wanted to offer a wide range of everyday styles that are directly inspired by the world of sportswear. Our Moon Logo Jersey lines come in a range of traditional colours (white, black and grey, but in most cases lilac too) spun out across t-shirts, tanks and dresses, as well as underwear. These garments are finished in the classic way familiar from sportwear garments, with our Moon Logo in raised embroidery just below the neckline.

pink jaquard twill

Iconic All Over Moon motif adorns this blended FSC-approved viscose and wool yarn jacquard knit. The shapes present in this family run in parallel to those in the wider Moon Logo range and serve to accentuate the collection’s idea of translation and metamorphosis, almost as if our iconic Recycled Moon Jersey magically transformed into knitwear. The line has a strong sportswear dynamic with the addition of thumbholes in some of the pieces. This wool blend jacquard knit is slightly warmer and thicker than the Moon Logo Knit, however, but also so incredibly soft that it can also be worn directly on the skin.
